To anyone considering adoption through Chihuahua Rescue, USA, I say go for it!! You will never regret giving a forever home to one of these sweet babies. I recently adopted little Lucky, we call him Lucky Doable. We adore him, plain and simple. He has turned out to be the perfect companion for Taz, our other Chihuahua and fits perfectly into our family. David with Chihuahua Rescue, USA couldn't have been nicer. Please don't shy away from a rescue that does a home check; they need to be done for the good of the animals. Some of these sweethearts have already been through so much they just want to be loved and safe--same as you and me. Lucky is such a happy, loving little guy, I'm sure you'll find your "perfect fit" if you decide to adopt. Some one special is waiting for you!

I am completely in love with Herbie, and I am so glad that I decided to adopt an orphaned Chihuahua instead of purchasing one. Herbie is so sweet, funny, and well-behaved. His unconditional love and companionship is beyond rewarding. A special thanks to Darrell and Angela for their help, time, and service.

My husband and I felt "love at first sight" when beautiful 2 years young Gizmo came to our home on the visit. We were immediately, emotionally involved and couldn't do with out him! Since he was starting a new life with us we renamed him to Chief because that is exactly what he became; the Chief of our love and attention. He is a perfect baby and so sweet! On the weekends, he goes everywhere with us and is the main attraction. During the weekdays we can't wait to get home to be with him to just love, hold and pet him. When he looks at us with those dark chocolate eyes, we can't help but to worship him; we just dive into those eyes. For anyone who is thinking of adopting from Chihuahua Rescue, USA, let me say that it has been one of the best experiences. We are firm believers in adopting from shelters, pounds and rescues. It's not the cats' and dogs' fault they are there and do not let anyone tell you orphans or adult cats/dogs have too much baggage or issues. We have had the privilege of sharing some of our best years with our adult adopted pets from shelters, pounds and/or rescues. We thank Chihuahua Rescue, USA, for the care and effort they give to bring new meaning of love and companionship to animals and humans lives.

Eleven year old Rosella (renamed for her beautiful red color and still rhymes with her old name, Stella) is a real sweet heart. I am writing to encourage any would-be-adopters out there to consider sharing your home with a senior canine. What you will get, if you decide to adopt a "Grampy or Granny" dog is unconditional love! This little Chihuahua has been out of the chewing stage for many years now--well she still chews her food just fine, but no torn up shoes or missing slippers! There are other advantages too numerous to mention. Our other rescues had all younger dogs and it took us a lot longer to adjust to them and the dog to us. Rosella just waltzed into our lives, as if to say, "I'm home now and I'm here to stay!" Thank you Kathy and Chihuahua Rescue, USA!

Scooter has quickly become the little light of my life! He is the sweetest thing. He loves to cuddle and he loves kids! All the women melt at how affectionate he is. He is so excited when I come home and whenever I am gone I can't wait to get home to see him do his little spin! I think we both really needed each other. Thanks, Chihuahua Rescue!

Thanks to Chihuahua Rescue for helping us adopt our newest family member, Dewey! Formerly known as Don Juan, we welcomed him into our family on April 5th, 2006, and now we couldn't imagine life without him! He is the sweetest, gentlest dog we could have asked for. Dewey loves taking walks, going for car rides, or just hanging out at home with us! He's very attached to his squeeky toy named "Baby". Just two days after we adopted Dewey, my husband and I found out we are expecting a baby of our own! In December Dewey will help us welcome a new brother or sister! We know Dewey will love him or her as much as we will! Thanks again, Chihuahua Rescue.
